We keep this simple because you deserve to know exactly what happens with your information.
The short version
We collect your business name, phone number, email, and business type so they appear on your flyers. We delete what you type after your flyer is generated. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. That's it.
What we collect
Business information you provide: Your business name, business type, phone number, and email address. These are stored in your account so they appear on your flyers automatically. All of these are optional except business name.
Your business logo and photos: When you upload a logo or photos, they are stored on our servers to display on your flyers. We strip all metadata (including location data) from uploaded images before storing them.
Your promotional descriptions: When you describe what you want to promote, that text is sent to our AI to generate your flyer content. After your flyer is successfully generated, your original description is deleted. We do not keep what you typed. The generated output (flyer text, WhatsApp message, social caption) is stored so you can access it in your history.
Device identifier: We use a device fingerprint to identify your account. We do not collect your name, home address, or any personal identification beyond what you enter for your business profile.
Basic usage data: We count how many flyers are created, which categories are popular, and which style variants are selected. These are anonymous aggregate counters. We do not track individual behavior patterns.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your location. We don't collect your contacts. We don't collect your browsing history. We don't use cookies for tracking. We don't use third-party analytics scripts. We don't use tracking pixels. We don't collect biometric data.
How we use your information
Your business information appears on your flyers. That's the only reason we collect it.
Your promotional descriptions are processed by AI to generate content. They are deleted after generation. They are never used to train AI models, sold to third parties, or stored for any other purpose.
Your usage data helps us understand which features are useful so we can improve the app.
How we protect your information
All data stored in our database is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. Your information is encrypted before it's written and decrypted only when it's read by the app.
All connections to Brilla use HTTPS encryption.
Our AI provider (Anthropic) processes your promotional descriptions to generate text. Anthropic does not store or use your inputs for training. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details on their data handling.
Your flyer images are stored on Vercel Blob storage with randomized URLs that cannot be guessed or enumerated by others.
API keys and secrets are stored only on our servers. They never appear in your browser or on your device.
Third-party services
Anthropic: Processes your promotional descriptions to generate flyer text. Your descriptions are sent to their API, processed, and not retained by Anthropic.
Vercel:Hosts the app and stores your flyer images. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Lemon Squeezy:Processes payments if you upgrade to a paid plan. We do not handle or store your payment card information. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
Resend:Sends welcome emails (with your consent) and payment receipts. You opt in to the welcome email on the onboarding form; you can leave the checkbox unchecked to skip it entirely. See Resend's privacy policy.
Your data, your control
Delete your account: Contact us at support@nectarapp.io and we will delete all your stored data including your business profile, flyer history, uploaded photos, and logo.
Update your information: You can update your business name, phone, email, logo, and business type anytime in the Settings screen.
Children
Brilla is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll notify you through the app.
